Audit
Auditing a business for data protection compliance is a simple, pain-free affair.
Once on-site, we watch and listen to how your company acquires and moves personal information around your organisation and elsewhere.
We talk to managers to understand how they and their departments deal with information, we observe data protection procedures at first hand, and we help answer any burning questions that people have regarding their data protection role.
We review procedures and policies in practice to check that they are effective.
Then, once we’ve really got to grips with how your company handles personal data, we help pinpoint potential risks, rate the organisation’s true compliance, and provide speedy tailored solutions to privacy and e-commerce issues where needed.
Data protection training
We provide training on any spect of data protection including Information Risk Management, Technical Updates and How to Audit for Data Protection Compliance.
We run regular courses for the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in London which are open to all.
Or, if you prefer, we can tailor course content for an in-house session. We can provide training for groups of all sizes, starting with one to one, on the job training to help compliance personnel identify and resolve issues arising from the business and administration. Or we can provide formal information risk management sessions for managers to brief them on likely hot spots and problem areas.
We offer a half day training session for up to 4 delegates on client premises priced from £600 plus VAT, dependant on location. Delegates are trained in the basics of data protection law and helped to identify the priorities for their business so that resources can be focused on the most pressing issues. The session includes a documentation pack of reference notes with practical tips and hints and a range of draft policies and procedures to cover key data protection exposures.
